Ice and Windy Day!

This is utterly amazing! In the 5.5 years we have been here, we have never had two days off in a row. We have only had one snow day and one late start day. Today, it was too icy and their were hazardous winds. It is amzing that after survinging negative temperatures, we have ice days on +36 and +45 degree days. I guess everyone just needed some stay-at-home days. The real bummer is that Sarah was going to recieve an award today at an assembly.

Snow day? Ha Ha... Ice day!

Well, can you believe it?! They canceled school. They never cancel school! We were awoken this morning with a stream of phone calls starting at 5:30. School is canceled due to icy roads! We have spent the last few weeks in -3 to -20 degree weather. This week we have +10 to +36 (heat wave!) and we have an ice day. How funny! It really does feel like a heat wave! I am just thankful we are not further up north! They reached -50 for a while last week!
